Day 9: Disneyland!
We woke up to the sound of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song pumping through camp and packed up before our magical filled day at the Happiest Place on Earth!! We got on our vehicles and the Bashful’s gifted us gourmet Yoohoo and bagels so we'd be fueled up to meet our favorite characters :)

As we felt the magic follow us throughout the day, we split into groups and made our way to some of the park's best rides, from Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars Land to Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland. While some enjoyed the Teacups in Fantasyland, others dared to escape the Dark Side and become part of the Resistance in an epic ride against evil. Our food stops ranged from one dole whip to seventy-five, once we found out how good they were, so our bank accounts were emptying and the toilets were filling with glitter.
Sean became a counselor for the day…(he’s the tour bus driver)

While some of us were not so silently roaming the streets, i.e. when Abby sang her heart out in her best mickey accent that earned a free “Honorable Citizen of DisneyLand” pin. The H.C.O.D pin if you will. Turkey legs, pretzels, corn on the cob, and Mickey - shaped ice cream, we surely got to taste the magic. While we indulged in all the rad opportunities we barely made it back to the shuttles in time and could almost hear Goofy's laugh wavering in the distance, (or maybe it was Asher), as we said goodbye to the happiest place on EARTH!

On the way to the happiest place on earth!
We not only had an extremely fun day, but it was important to make memories with people we haven’t gotten the time to talk to yet. Though we didn't know their name an hour prior… we shared memories that we will never forget. The food was amazing, from Italian, to Mexican, all the way to turkey legs!? Even if we all got price gouged for six dollar Smart water, I (Jake Holloway) believe that it was worth every penny, and I'm sure you all would agree. For many of us, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we appreciate being able to be a part of it.
